The Parnassus Group and Robert Scoble are proud to be throwing the 2010 “It Won’t Stay in Vegas” blogger party.

“The 2010 event should be the biggest and best one yet.” – Robert Scoble

The old slogan, “what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas,” is not always true. It’s hardly the case when you’re hanging out with bloggers. Take a break from grueling rounds on the show floor to come hang out and drink with all the important geeks and gadget bloggers at CES.

The hottest blogger party on (or off) the strip this January will undoubtedly be the fourth annual “It Won’t Stay in Vegas” bash at the Atomic Testing Museum. Featuring great food, an open bar and game lounge, it’s hard not to have a good time.

“Since 2007, the ‘It Won’t Stay in Vegas’ party has been one of the best spots to meet and mingle with some of the most prolific gadget bloggers” says Scoble. “The 2010 event should be the biggest and best one yet.”

Live entertainment, creative lighting, free wi-fi, and multiple rooms will provide a mixture of atmospheres where you can post, explore, network, or learn.

Join Robert Scoble and other top bloggers at CES

Everyone knows that having great content is only half the battle. Growing your blog is really all about who you know. If you’re going to be at CES this year, there’s no better chance to network than at the “It Won’t Stay in Vegas” blogger party.

Last year’s party drew over 200 consumer electronics bloggers together for free drinks and food while giving them a chance to wander through the open exhibits at the Atomic Testing Museum or meet with the party sponsors.

Partial RSVPs from the 2007, 2008, and 2009 parties can be found on the Past Guests page if you scroll past the top. On those lists you’ll find people like Doc Searls, Phil Wolff, Marc Canter, and Major Nelson.

This year you’ll be able to see who’s coming on the guest list page as people sign up for the party.

You must be for real

We’re serious about our parties. If you don’t work in your pajamas, you’re out of luck.

OK, it’s not that strict. But you get the idea—this is a party where bloggers, twitterers, and new media content creators can hang out, grab a bite, and talk to other like-minded web 2.0 geeks.

We will turn away invite requests coming from people without real blogs, real twitter accounts, or coming from people who don’t really take their blogging seriously. There’s no hard and fast rule about what makes the cut and what doesn’t, but if you have to ask whether your blog counts, it probably doesn’t.
